First Snow

We got a tiny bit of snow at the Farm on Saturday. It looked like a blizzard out there but very little stuck. What little did stick is now frozen solid to the ground. More snow is predicted for Tuesday night and then rain. So... winter has finally arrived.

Even though very little of the white stuff stuck to the ground I thought I'd take a picture and post it. I have unearthed the camera but it needs to be charged and I can't find the charger. Ah, the joys of moving. I'll come across it eventually I guess.

On my wish list this year is a large embroidery stand with scoll frames. My hands keep cramping up holding onto the hoops so it's time to move up to the big time and have a standing frame. As if I need one more thing...

But no books this year! Seriously, Santa, I've appreciated the books you've given me over the past forty something years but I just don't have any more room for them. Of course this means I'll go on some crazy book-buying binge at my birthday, but for right now no.more.books!

Oh, and for what it's worth, I have not had sex with Tiger Woods.

It is Friday

and I have no pictures for you.

The Donald and Rosie both need a new hobby. Even the Aussies are talking about this stupid feud they've got going.

Oh, and Rosie? He's been married three times.

"You know, it really doesn't matter what [the media] write as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ass." Donald Trump. Always a class act.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Let your heart be light
From now on,
our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay,
From now on,
our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.

Through the years
We all will be together,
If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.
And have yourself A merry little Christmas now.

I'm outta here until after the first of the year, I think. I might pop in between now and then. So have yourselves a Merry little Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year.

You are 83% Scranton!

Pretty Good! You probaby live somewhere in NEPA, maybe Wilkes-Barre or the Poconos. Or maybe you are from New Jersey and and graduated from "Da U." You know enough to get around and have some fun, but there's still lots to learn about Scranton.

how Scranton are you?
